is a Los Angeles–based director, photographer, and digital creator working primarily in short-form narrative comedy.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s Radio-Television-Film program, she began her career in comedy development at Comedy Central before moving into directing her own original projects.

Her work thus far explores awkward, surreal scenarios and the characters forced to navigate them — often positioning ordinary people as accidental protagonists in heightened realism, calling out the absurdity of spaces such as modern office and dating app culture. 

Ella collaborates with emerging Gen-Z performers across live comedy, narrative, and music, building projects that are playful, emotionally specific, and visually distinct.
